| Description: | I have an Asus Eee PC 1000 which uses the Ralink 2860 chip for wireless Ethernet. I am willing to pay $200 to whoever can deliver a stable working driver for this chipset. The driver needs to be incorporated into -CURRENT but I will be very pleased to help test patches. My test of stability is for the driver to run for several days with light to moderate load to and from various internet sites. My test of working is for the driver to permit the movement of gigabytes of data over the network at a minimum of 802.11g speed -- 802.11n speed not required! The driver doesn't have to be written from scratch, it can be ported from OpenBSD or Linux if licensing permits. I just want it to work, and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. :-) |
