Bounties for FreeBSD development have been offered before, and usually announced on the FreeBSD mailing lists. Others have mentioned creating a site to track bounties, but it's never been done... until now.
I've read enough already, take me to the bounties
If you're a FreeBSD user who wants a new feature, and is prepared to stump up money, it's for you. If you're a FreeBSD developer who is looking to see what others want, it's for you.
Browse the bounties, see if someone else has already put up a bounty. See one you like? Once you've created an account, you can add a reward to an existing bounty. If the bounty doesn't exist, you can create it.
Seen a bounty you think you could take on? Well we'll sort that out real soon...
No. At some point we'll add some notifications, but when we do, we'll give you the option of whether to receive them or not.
